HURT ALL OVER
A woman complained to her doctor that she hurt all over. The doctor asked what she meant by “all over” and asked for a specific example. The woman touched her knee and said, “Ouch, that hurts!” The doctor asked for another example. The woman pointed to her shoulder and said, “Oh, that hurts too!” She then pointed to her ear. “That really hurts!” The doctor stopped the woman before she touched any more body parts. “I know what your problem is,” the doctor replied. “The reason you hurt all over is because you have a broken finger.”
