HELEN KELLER ON BEAUTY
Helen Keller’s home on Long Island was sold, the purchaser was amazed to find that it was a house of many windows, with beautiful views. One of these looked out over Long Island sound. Miss Keller replied that just because she was blind was no reason why she needed to live in a room with just four walls. She wanted a room that looked out upon beauty even though she could not see it.
