LUCKY SAUCER
An art dealer was walking through a city when he noticed a mangy old cat that was lapping milk from a saucer in the doorway of a store. As he continued to walk, something caught his eye about that saucer. He knew a great deal about antique saucers and immediately recognized this saucer as being of great value. He figured that very few people would have ever noticed the value of this saucer, but because of his expertise, he had seen it right away. The art dealer had to be careful. He did not want the shop owner to figure out how much he wanted that saucer. He came up with a clever plan so that the shop owner would never even suspect the value of the saucer. The art dealer approached the shop owner and asked if the shop owner would sell him the old cat for two dollars. The shop owner told him that the cat was not for sale.…
