AGES ON THE DOORS
A seven-year-old girl went with her Brownie troop to visit a retirement home. When she returned from the outing, she was telling her mother all about it: “We visited a man who was 110 years old and a woman who was 118.” The mother was quite impressed and asked if the elderly people were able to tell her their ages. The girl answered, “Oh no, Mom, they were much too old to tell us. But we were able to tell how old they were by looking at the numbers on their doors.”
