DON’T FORGET THE PENNY A
Scottish lad and his lassie were sitting next to each other in the Scottish Highlands. They sat in silence for a while just gazing over the glen. The lass turned to the lad and said, “A penny ferr your thoughts.” The lad was taken aback, and then he answered, “I was just a thinkin’ how nice it’d be if ye’d give me a wee bit of a kiss.” The flattered lass kissed the lad. But then the lad slipped once more into a pensive mood. His lass once more asked, “What arrre yuh thinkin’ now?” The lad answered, “I was just a hopin’ yuh hadn’t forrgotten the penny!”
