SAY GOODNIGHT
Paul Tournier tells of a Swiss woman who lived in a large apartment house and worked in a shop with many people, but every evening she would tune into the “Sign Off” of the radio station just to hear a voice saying, “We wish you a very pleasant goodnight.” She imagined that the voice was speaking just to her. She hungered for a personal greeting even though she heard thousands of people every day. You want a ministry. Why don’t you find a lonely person who has no one to tell him or her goodnight and give them a call each evening. Your night will be far more pleasant for having wished goodnight to someone else.
