SIGHTS SET TOO LOW
A man once found a five dollar bill on the ground. He spent the rest of his life carefully watching his path. During his life-long search for free money, he accrued less than fifteen dollars, hundreds of buttons, and hundreds of pins. The price he paid for this free money and stuff was a hunched back, a miserable perspective, and a rotten character. His life-long search for so little cost him so much: the sight of trees, blue sky and all that makes life worth living. His sights were just set too low. Adapted from a submission by John Fitts, Palm Harbor, Florida
