DIME OUT OF A QUARTER
A grandmother took her granddaughter along with her when she went to the grocery store. The granddaughter was excited to go because she had a quarter, and she wanted to spend that quarter on a piece of candy. When they got to the grocery store the little girl looked carefully at all of her options. There was an entire section of candy that sold for a quarter and an entire section of candy that sold for a dime. The girl found the candy she wanted, but it was in the dime candy section. The little girl was confused. The candy cost a dime, but she only had a quarter.
