NOT SO BAD HEALTH
A few years back, a member of my church, found a sense of gratitude rising within her on a trip to the office of her oral surgeon. She indicated that she had always felt a little sorry for herself because of the two physical problems she has had — a loss of hearing and hypoglycemia. But then, as she was arranging to have a tooth extracted, the oral surgeon sought to work up her medical history. He inquired about a number of things — any high blood pressure; any heart trouble; any arthritis; any gall bladder problems; any kidney problems; and back problems; etc. Well, the further he got into his list of physical problems, the more grateful she became. When she finally walked out of his office, she came to realized how fortunate she really was, and she gave thanks to God for it.
