Things could be worse. For example you could have been last year’s victim of the faithful dog who played a good game of fetch the stick. Here is the story: Seems there was a fellow who wanted to take male relatives hunting so he bought a brand-new Jeep Cherokee, gathered all the hunting equipment and took off to hunt some ducks. When the men arrived at the place they wanted to hunt, they drove onto the frozen Michigan lake. They needed to make a hole for their decoys to float and for the ducks to land, so they had a stick of dynamite to create their swimming hole. The fuse on the dynamite took about twenty seconds to burn, and the men did not want to take the chance of falling on the ice after the dynamite was lit.
