FULL HOUSE
Once upon a time there was a householder who lived with his wife, his two small children, and his elderly parents in a very small hut. The man did his best to be helpful and patient, but the noise and the crowding in the hut suddenly became too much. His parents coughed and made demands. His wife scolded. And the children cried. One day, in utter desperation, the householder went to the village’s wise man to ask him what he should do to ease the overcrowding and the noise. “Do you have a rooster?” asked the wise man. “Yes,” replied the householder. “Then, put that rooster inside your hut, too, and come back to see me in a week.” A week later the householder returned and told the wise man that his situation was now even more desperate.
