PREPARE FOR THE WORST
While pastoring in Great Britain, I had the privilege of attending a “Grace” Ministries House Party (convention). In a testimonial response regarding the theme of Repentance and Victorious Living an English pastor remarked: “I have never flown in an airplane until recently. Having boarded a jet airliner in London to fly to the continent (Europe), I became quite anxious as a stewardess began to instruct us as to safety precautions in case of emergency. I listened and watched most attentively as she outstretched her arms pointing to emergency exits; I memorized the floatation device instruction card in front of me; and made certain I understood the oxygen emergency procedure. “Nervously and stiff I sat as the airliner took off.
