DAY AT A TIME
An old idiom says, “Life is hard by the yard, but by the inch, it’s a cinch. Jesus taught us to live one day at a time. We are not to worry about the past or borrow trouble from the future. One person has said that when we undress for bed, we ought to undress our mind as well. Take off and lay aside all the things we have worried about during the day. Carlyle said, “Our main business is not to see what lies dimly in the future, but to do what lies clearly at hand.”
