QUALITY OF LIFE
Buckner Fanning tells the story of a pastor friend who developed a heart disease that left him tired and unable to function as a pastor. His doctors left him little hope of quality or quantity of life. In frustration he went to another state to inquire of a heart specialist who concentrated his work on the pastor’s dilemma. After a long and rigorous examination, the pastor asked, “Can you help me?” The doctor who was not long on conversation said, “Yes!” After surgery was performed and recovery completed, the pastor returned to his church with a new lease on life. Several weeks later the pastor returned for a follow up examination. He thanked the doctor again and again for returning quantity and quality to his life.
