KINGDOM LIVING SUFFERING
Now it is true that Kingdom living can be here and now — in the believer’s heart. However, when it comes to the external conditions of life and the Christian’s circumstances in a godless licentious world, we have no such promise from God for a trouble-free and painless life (I Peter 4:12-16). The fact of the matter is, we are currently living in enemy territory (Ephesians 2:1-3) under the conditions of a brutal war (Ephesians 6:10-13) and every Christian, as well as all ministers, will regularly encounter the hardships, horrors and atrocities of that spiritual conflict (II Corinthians 4:8-11).
