GET READY FOR THE TOUGH TIMES
I enjoyed an article in ML Journal (Vol. VI, No. 1, Word, Inc.) entitled “Get Ready for The River’s Rising” by Vernon Grounds, President Emeritus of Denver Theological Seminary. He addresses the theme of using the good times to prepare for the tough times: Let me, therefore, tell you how I think we need to get ready for the river’s rising. Let me tell you what I think we can do in these days of relative serenity and peace in order to prepare ourselves for those coming days when life may be almost impossibly tough and tiring.
