CONFIDENCE OF A SOLDIER
The Christian soldier may wonder at times if there is any reason behind the various lessons of life; but a wise God knows that a soldier’s usefulness increases with the breadth of his experiences. During this stage of his training, Phil was exposed to many things with the purpose of acquainting him with various techniques and abilities related to the war. In like manner, the Christian may encounter stages of life that are more broadly educational, where a specific direction may not be obvious.
