But it’s a funny story. It was sent in by Pastor Dale Bean of the Calvary Assembly of God Church of Carthage, IL. Two fellows, both in their mid-30’s were named Charlie and LeRoy. Neither of them had ever held a steady job and their mother was getting on them: “Get a job or get out of the house!” So, as they were thumbing through the classified ads of the local newspaper their eyes fell across an ad for a team of truck drivers. They quickly reasoned that if you have to have a job, to be on a truck driving team is better than most jobs because the half of the time you’re not driving you can be up top asleep.
