WHEN MOM’S HAIR TURNS GRAY
One evening a young girl was staring at her mother for the longest time. The girl noticed that some of the hairs on her mother’s head were no longer brown but had turned gray. The girl asked her mother, “Why has some of your hair turned gray?” The mother saw this as a great opportunity to teach an object lesson: “Well, I think that the reason mothers have their hair turn gray is because they have daughters that disobey them. Every time you or your sister do something wrong, one more hair on my head turns gray–because I am your mother. The little girl pondered that thought for a while and then asked another question: “What all did you do wrong to turn every hair on Grandma’s head gray?”
