REMEMBER BRING VEDDING PRESENT
Abe and Sara were an elderly Swedish couple. They tried their best to keep up with the times, but truthfully, they were a bit backward. They had few friends and received little correspondence. One day Sara received a single envelope in the mail. She opened it and found that it was a wedding invitation. She proudly announced that they had been invited to a wedding but that there was one thing she did not understand. She asked, “What does it mean when it says that R.S.V.P. required?” Abe thought for a few moments and then triumphantly announced, “Oh, those are the initials for REMEMBER SEND VEDDING PRESENT!”
