AN ALARMING CLOCK
A young boy received an alarm clock from his grandparents for Christmas. He was quite proud of his gift. He asked how the clock worked. His father showed him, and in no time, the boy had mastered the settings on his new clock. The next morning the boy walked sleepily into the dining room as his parents were having breakfast. The boy’s father was a bit surprised to see his son up so early. The father asked him, “How do you like your new clock?” The boy answered, “Oh, I like my clock, except the crazy thing woke me up!”
