GOD STILL ANSWERED
Once there was a young boy who was desperately hoping to receive a new bicycle for Christmas. Deep down, he knew his parents just could not afford it, but he kept on hoping and praying. Every morning and every night he prayed for that new bicycle. Christmas came, and there was no bicycle under the tree – just a few small, inexpensive gifts. And as the boy began to open his presents, his father said to him, “Merry Christmas, Son. I want you to know that Mother and I are genuinely sorry God didn’t answer your prayers for a bicycle.” To which the boy replied, “Yes He did, Dad. God answered my prayers. He said, ‘No.'”
