CONVICTING PROOF
An accused purse snatcher was on trial, and the victim was describing what happened. She said, “Yes, that is the man who stole my purse. I saw him just as clear as day. I would remember his face anywhere.” The man could not contain his rage and protested violently: There is absolutely no way you could have seen my face! I was wearing a mask!”
