WORTH A TRY
A minister was at the bedside of a very wealthy but selfish old man who was dying. “Reverend,” the man asked, “if I give thousands of dollars to the church, will my salvation be assured?” The minister thought for a moment and then answered, “I’m not sure that would work, but I think it’s worth a try.”
