ONLY THREE PRESENTS
I always like to read the letters to Santa printed in the Groesbeck Journal. They always touch me and make me laugh and generally help me get in the Christmas spirit. And this year, I was really touched by one which, to me, really exhibited both the spirit of Christmas and the depth of Christian love and faith which we all need. It was written by a seven-year-old little girl and it read: “Dear Santa, How are you? How is Mrs. Santa? Did any toys break? This year I am only going to ask for three presents because some boys and girls might not get any. So I want you to get them some. This is what I want. 1) A skate board. 2) A doll that walks. 3) A Cabbage Patch doll. That is all, see you soon.
