CALLING FOR DADDY
My two-year-old was having trouble falling asleep. For weeks my wife wrestled with the problem of my daughter’s crying, etc. at bedtime. After several weeks I thought I should step in with my tremendous knowledge of child rearing and put an end to this problem. With great wisdom I told my wife tonight, our daughter would just have to cry herself to sleep. Sure enough when we placed her in her bed the crying began and soon turned to screams of MAMA! MAMA! There was no doubt that everyone within the three closest zip codes could hear her screams. I was having to hold my wife down to keep her from going to the bedside of my daughter. However, after what seemed like an eternity, the crying stopped. I knew I had just won and proved a point about my wisdom in child rearing.
