SCHOLARLY DECEPTION
The scholars of the so-called Jesus Seminar remind me of Judas. Under the cover of scholarship they cash in on Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. Like Judas, their interest in Jesus is distorted by self-preoccupation. The way they go about falsely identifying Jesus reminds me of Judas’ kiss; they feign wisdom to conceal their deception.
