UNFORGIVING RECORD
We are told that the writer, H. G. Wells, came from an unhappy home. His parents quarreled constantly. His mother had no regard nor respect for her husband, resented him deeply and ventilated her feelings to anyone who would listen. After her death, H. G. Wells found his mother’s diary. In it she had kept a record of every one of her husband’s shortcomings.
