BIG GOLD FENCE A
Texan and a Kentuckian were trying to outdo the other in boasting of the wealth of their respective states. The fellow from Kentucky bragged, “In the State of Kentucky we have enough gold to build a solid gold fence, 3 feet high and 2 feet wide, all the way around Texas.” “Good idea,” replied the Texan. “Go ahead and build it, If we like it, we’ll buy it.”
