BURDEN GOD
No college offers a course entitled: Trials 101. But life can and does get hectic, often daily. Trials are not optional, but required courses in life. God’s Word tells us that when we are hard pressed, we are to put the pressures, the entire matter into His hands. Then we will be free from care. In other words, we are to “burden God with our burdens.” Our duty, and privilege is to release it. His duty is to bear it. An unknown poet expressed it this way: Build a little fence of trust around today; Fill the space with loving work and therein stay. Look not through the sheltering bars upon tomorrow; God will help you bear what comes of joy or sorrow. God is always at work around us, the evidence is clear. We see His hand in life and in death.
