CHOOSING WHAT IS RIGHT
An engineer worked on a quotation for a multi-million dollar project. The customer’s specifications were not met by the company’s equipment. The boss instructed the engineer to write the quote as if they were in compliance. If the customer caught them, they would give him what he wanted anyway. The engineer was a Christian and told his boss that he thought this was lying. The boss responded, “If you can’t lie as part of your job, there is no job for you in this company.” The next day, the engineer looked for a new job and within three days, he was working for a new employer.
