UNGRATEFUL & UNGIVING
In a recent Snuffy Smith by Fred Lasswell, Snuffy’s buddy Zeke steps outside and hollers, “HEY, SNUFFY!! You can come on back in th’ barn dance now!! Th’ fiddlers are all done passin’ th’ hat, Snuffy.” When it comes to stewardship messages and financial campaigns, some folks are just like Snuffy, they want all the benefits of the Church, they want to participate in all the programs and ministries but they don’t want to contribute their time, skills or money when someone passes the hat.
