CAPITALISM
Lately a number of Christian authors have written on the question, “Is capitalism Christian?” The attempts to answer this question have been scholarly and well developed, but some of these writers fail to perceive that the question is wrong. What we should be asking is, “How can we make capitalism Christian? Every principality and power in our world, as well as every individual, is in a fallen state and is in need of restoration to the state that God intended. Capitalism can be made to glorify God if those who are part of such an economic system are willing to free it from elements of greed. Contemporary proponents of capitalism readily admit that greed is a part of this economic system in its present form.
