TEN THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
Don Maddox sent us the following “thoughts for the day” in a list of twenty. We ran a check on back issues and found that we had already used ten of the twenty. So we shortened the list to ten. Ten thoughts for the price of twenty . . . or 1 out of 2 ain’t bad. 1.The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. 2.Nothing is fool-proof, only fool-resistant. 3.Atheism is a non-prophet organization. 4.You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say may be misquoted and used against you. 5. Depression is merely anger without the enthusiasm. 6.Support bacteria, it may be the last culture we have. 7.I just got lost in thought, it was unfamiliar territory. 8.I feel like I am diagonally parked in a parallel universe. 9.Despite the cost of living, it still remains popular. 10.Two wrongs are only the beginning.
