NEW AND IMPROVED MATERIALISM
While you (the Baby Boomers) were out admiring each other, we (the next generation) have become more narcissistic and materialistic than you ever dreamed was possible. For your generation, being raised the material way was all right, if for no other reason than your parents remembered the other side of the coin. But we grew up in households where everybody, even Mom and Dad, had always been spoiled, and we grew up taking materialism for granted. After we got used to it, we improved on it.
