UNSPOILED MOTIVATION I
‘m always delighted when I come across stories about the things that motivate people — especially when they are true. Here’s an actual incident that was passed on to me by my wife, Avis. It seems that her 2nd grade Sunday School class has really been emphasizing the memorization of Scripture. One little 7 year old, Christian, is beginning to get into the program. And it seems he was working on his memory work at home. His Dad was inquiring into the whole procedure and asked Christian, “Well, what do you get if you learn these verses? What’s the prize or reward?” And Christian eyed him with that simple child-like look and said “We get to learn more!”
