THE INCARNATION
Through the good graces and extra funds of my in-laws, I was given an IBM computer. One of the first programs I purchased was a word processor, which turns the computer into a very fancy typewriter. With it, I do a lot of my sermon preparation and all my letter writing, etc. But one of the things I really wanted was the Bible on Disk. Well, for our anniversary, my wife gave me WordSearch, a Bible program that loads into the computer. I can look up a passage of scripture faster than you can open your Bible. It was great, but it had one thing missing. If I was working in my word processor and wanted to look up or copy or quote a passage of scripture, I had to save what I was doing, exit the program, go to the Bible, look up the passage and print it out or mark a Bible, then close the Bible program, get back into…
