THE BEARDED GUY AT CHRISTMAS
David Palm, Lutheran pastor from Postville, Iowa sent in this one which he heard from his pastor back home: On Christmas Eve I was talking to a lady after the service. She said that earlier that evening she met a bearded fellow carrying a large sack over his back. I said, “Oh!” My facial expression showed I did not like the emphasis on Santa Claus. She went on, “It was my son home from college.”
