THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT
A lady went to buy a stamp at a post office during the Christmas rush where some of the clerks have a reputation for surliness. The stamp was pushed across the counter with such force that it landed on the floor about two feet away. With great aplomb, she took the money from her purse, laid it on the floor, picked up the stamp and walked out. Adapted from an item in Reader’s Digest.
