David Wilkerson in his book America’s Last Call quotes a “liberal politician”–he didn’t give his name–who said: “America is racing toward ruin! Our country is morally crippled. Any thinking citizen can see we’re sinking into a mire of degradation beyond all comprehension. We elect people to our highest offices knowing they’re liars, adulterers, immoral and two-faced. We Americans seem to be saying, “Just give us a good economy. We want to be left alone with our videos, VCRs and stereos. We want time and money to eat, drink, and enjoy ourselves.
