Conformity

Every weary traveller has wondered if the worst part of the trip is the ride from the airport. A man had a taxi driver pick him up, and the first red light he came to, he zoomed right on through without stopping or slowing down.

The irritated passenger said, “You just went through a red light.”

The driver replied, “Yeah, I always do. My brother taught me how to drive and he always does that.”

Then the driver came to a stop sign and zoomed right through it. The passenger complained once again and the driver answered, “My brother taught me how to drive and he always does that.”

Then the driver went through still another red light and told the man the same thing: “My brother always does that.”

Finally, they came to a green light and the taxi screeched to a halt.

The passenger asked, “Why did you stop for a green light?”

The driver responded, “My brother might be coming.”
