WHAT THEN?
He was a splendid young fellow, eighteen years of age, a freshman at the university, of athletic build, with a good mind. His father was my law partner, a devout Christian, standing high in his profession; and his mother, one of God’s saints. He came into the office looking for his father, who had gone out for a short while.
