A broken-hearted dog owner placed an ad in the paper, promising one million dollars to the person who found his missing puppy. One day later, he decided to visit the newspaper to see if there were any leads. “Is the publisher in today?” the millionaire asked an assistant. “No, I’m afraid he’s out today,” the assistant replied. “How about the managing editor?” “I’m afraid he’s not in, either.” “Who can I talk to regarding my lost puppy?” “I don’t know, sir, but I really must go. I’m on my way out to look for the puppy too!”
