MAKE YOUR REQUESTS SPECIFIC
Whether it is in communication in general, or prayer in particular we are often instructed to be specific in our requests. I’m not sure you can use this item I found in the January 25, ’82 edition of Fortune magazine. It’s a “Personal” ad they found in the New York Review of Books that read: HOUSEHUSBAND sought by attractive professor in small-town New England. Free- lance nonfiction writer, funny, middle-aged tennis-playing socialist would be ideal.” I guess you can’t get more specific in your requests than that. Although, I must confess that would never have occured to me as any kind of description I’d personally link with the word ‘ideal’. Specific requests, Ideal, Personal Taste
