JUST WAIT
While I was reading in the book of Proverbs to our children one evening, we came across Proverbs 11:1 which reads, “A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is his delight.” I asked my five-year-old boy if he knew what this meant. “Yes, Daddy,” my son answered, “It means that God doesn’t like it when you’re false. But when you are thinking about doing something bad, God likes it when you say to Satan, “Just wait!” Indeed, a “just wait” is his delight.
