RAW DEAL FOR THE DEVIL
He had been in politics for too long a time. He was jaded. His sensitivity was gone. And into his office walked the devil himself. Satan conversed with him for a few moments–cordial conversation–that’s all. And then he presented his offer. The devil told the politician that he would brighten his political future with greater power, prestige, and possessions. All the man needed to do was to trade his soul for these demonic blessings. The politician never hesitated. He immediately signed the papers to consummate the deal. As Satan was walking out of the office, the politician stopped him and asked, “Now that we have closed our deal, please tell me: I get all these wonderful things from you and all you get is my soul; what’s the catch?”
