A LITTLE LOWER THAN THE SKUNK
If you think you are superior to others, don’t be too sure. To most people, the lowly skunk stinks. It would be as low as you could go. But I read in the New York State Conservationist magazine that if you are a deer hunter and pin on you one of those little vials that covers up the human scent so as to not scare the deer, you are wearing SKUNK! The deer are not at all disturbed by the smell of skunk, but one smell of humans and he is gone. Created a little lower than the angels is one thing, but skunks! By Paul A. Noxon, Castleton, New York
