FULFILLING EXPECTATIONS
A certain farmer was known for his thrift and he moved into an area that frequently had tornados. He hadn’t experienced such disasters before but he had heard many a story about how bad they were. He was properly scared by the stories, so he took some of his hard-earned money and built a strong storm cellar. From then on, whenever the sky would darken he would head for his new storm cellar. And time and again he would come back up out of the storm cellar to find no evidence of any real storm or damage. After a number of these incidents he was beginning to have second thoughts about his wisdom in investing his money in this storm cellar. Then one day he came out of the cellar to find that a tornado had leveled his home and barn. Debris and chaos was everwhere.
