IN STEP WITH THE SPIRIT
Galatians 5:25 says, “Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” (NIV) Keep in step comes from the Greek word “Stoicheo” which means to walk in an orderly way. The word was used of those who were marching. In the military, from time to time, a drill sergeant will call cadence. “Left, Right, Left. Left, Right, Left. Left, Right, Left.
