Dying Wish

The dying man was whispering earnestly to his wife: “My dear, be sure to put Tommy in charge of the business.” To which she replied: “Why not Joey? He’s the smartest of the boys.”

The man nodded weakly. Then he said: “All right. But give the station wagon to Harry.” “But Jerry needs it for his family.“ “Okay. Give it to Jerry. But I want Janey to have the country house.” “Papa, you know Janey hates the country. Give it to Martha.”

The old man groaned:“Mama, who’s dying – you or me?”
